Week of March 18, 2025 | New fiction book releases

Welcome back to this week's lineup of exciting new fiction releases… several literary gems are waiting for you this week!

Legendary Abdulrazak Gurnah, who was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2021 for his stunning exploration of themes like identity, displacement, and colonialism, is publishing his newest novel, Theft.

Hunger Game fans will be excited delve into the newest book of the series, Sunrise of the Reaping, where Haymitch must face the Quarter Quell.

Emma Donoghue is back with a new book titled The Paris Express which I took the liberty of reviewing, so be sure to check out my thoughts on this tale based on the 1895 Montparnasse train derailment!

And don’t miss my review of Patti Callahan Henry’s heartfelt novel, The Story She Left Behind, which is also making its way to the shelves this week. This one is based on a real literary mystery, which I detail in my review.
